The Partners

✳UrbanSensing involves six European Partners, that have all been chosen for their specific expertise and skills in the fields of the Project.
The Consortium includes 3 SMEs (Accurat, LUST, sisu labs) and 3 Research Performers (T-Connect, IT4all, Technical Univeristy of Kosice).

SMEs:
Accurat
 s.r.l,  Italy (Project Coordinator)
Accurat is an information design agency: we analyze data and contexts and we design analytical tools and visual narratives that provide awareness, comprehension and engagement.
Accurat was founded in 2011 by Giorgia Lupi, Simone Quadri and Gabriele Rossi.
We envision and identify new ways to structure information, revealing and addressing latent needs, desires and opportunities.
Basing our methods on the design thinking approach, we specialize in providing our clients with consultancies, services and products related to information design: focusing on how information is transforming networks, cultures, contexts and behaviors is an attempt to understand the future, a demonstration that it can be intercepted and designed.
Our staff has experience and expertise in strategic, conceptual and visual design, data science and interaction design and development.
We integrate our teams with a network of experienced international researchers and professionals: computer and data scientists, anthropologists and sociologists, artists and videomakers, web marketing agencies, screenwriters and journalists.

LUST, (Netherlands)
LUST is a multidisciplinary graphic design practice established in 1996 by Thomas Castro, Jeroen Barendse and Dimitri Nieuwenhuizen and based in The Hague, Netherlands. LUST works in a broad spectrum of media including traditional printwork and book design, abstract cartography and data-visualisations, new media and interactive installations, and architectural graphics. LUST’s design methodology is process- or generative-based, founded upon the development of an analytical process which leads eventually to an end-product that designs itself. Moreover, LUST is deeply interested in exploring new pathways for design at the cutting edge where new media and information technologies, architecture and urban systems and graphic design overlap. This fascination led to the establishment in 2010 of a new research-based media & technology studio called LUSTlab, as a platform for researching, generating hypotheses, and developing new theories and technologies in the fields of media, interactivity, and technology.
